Join our Monkeyland volunteer programme and have a unique opportunity to work at the world's first free-roaming multi-specie primate sanctuary. The Monkeyland forest is home to lemurs, monkeys and gibbons. You'll be able to learn all about the nine different species of primate and train to be a sanctuary guide, taking visitors on educational walking tours of the forest. You'll conduct these guided tours in your home language and/or in English. As well as playing a key role in educating the visiting public about the challenges and threats that these incredible animals face both in the wild and in captivity, you'll also be able to help out in other essential work at the sanctuaries, such as preparing food for the monkeys and for the birds at our sister sanctuary, Birds of Eden.

If conducting tours isn't really your thing, maybe you have a great eye for photography or have filmmaking skills, have content creation or journalistic abilities? Then, maybe you'd like to join our Media volunteer programme.

There are lots of opportunities for enthusiastic, hard workiing people who are passionate about animal welfare. No two days are the same but the documents below will give you an idea of the kind of work involved in our volunteer programmes.
