Tbi 2012 Rapport
And the accommodation sector is still feeling the drag of price wars on rates and profitability. Competitive market behaviour was also the most cited factor impacting other businesses in the last quarter.
Where will the 2013 market opportunities come from? The majority of the accommodation sector expect domestic business markets to offer the best potential, followed by foreign leisure and then domestic leisure. Other tourism businesses expect more from the foreign leisure markets, followed by domestic markets. Almost a quarter of respondents in both categories also expect potential from the domestic conference, meetings and events markets.
Please diaries the next round of TBI surveys which will be sent to you on the 25th of March 2013.
Thank you again for your continued support of the TBI and we look forward to your next submission.
