07h30am - Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre

Start the day off with an exhilarating stroll through Tsitsikamma Indigenous Forest and Cape Floral Fynbos  as you join the Tenikwa Cheetahs on their daily walk.  A unique and personal experience with these amazing animals, the Cheetah Walk will stay with you for life.
 

10h30 - Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary

Enjoy a 1 hour guided safari through Monkeyland – the world’s largest, free-roaming,  multi-species primate sanctuary.  Here you can expect to see many species of monkeys, apes and lemurs living in our forested sanctuary.
 
12h00 - Birds of Eden SanctuaryWork up an appetite as you wander through the world’s largest free-flight aviary at Birds of Eden, which incorporates an indigenous forest with waterfalls and elevated walkways.  Previously caged birds from every corner of the globe live here in free flight.
 

14h00 - Bramon Wine Estate

Enjoy a light lunch under the vines at The Crags very own vineyard, Bramon Wine Estate.  Bramon is the only Wine Estate this far east of the Western Cape, and has broken new ground by pioneering vineyards, producing a superior Sauvignon Blanc “cap classique” sparkling wine, the first and only to be produced in the country. Lunch is from a set menu and is included in the cost of the package.
 

15h30 - The Crags Elephant Sanctuary

Interact, touch, feed and walk Trunk-In-Hand with the magnificent elephants at The Crags Elephant Sanctuary on the 1 hour program. End the day off with a personal experience with the elephants, as you participate in their bedding down during the Brushdown Program.

Join a 1 hour guided walking tour to visit the wild cats of Tenikwa, where you are guaranteed to see all the lesser cats of South Africa.  From Cheetah, Serval, Caracal, African WildCats and the rare Black-footed Cat, this is a unique opportunity to get close to some amazing creatures.  Your support funds our Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.

 

10h15 - Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary

Meet our slithery friends at Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary where you come face to face with pythons, Monitor Lizzards and a dome housing South African and Exotic snakes. 

 
 

12h00 - The Crags Elephant Sanctuary

Interact, touch, feed and walk with the magnificent elephants at The Crags Elephant Sanctuary on the 1 hour Trunk-In-Hand program.  A great family outing suitable for all ages.
 

13h30 - Goats at the Mill Mohair & Décor Centre

Feed the friendly goats at Mohair Mill, and then browse through the dynamic range of crafts, fabrics, mohair blankets and socks. Enjoy a freshly prepared set lunch at Peppermill Café. The price of the lunch is included in the cost of the package. Drinks are for your own account.

Join us at Tenikwa for a 1 hour guided tour to meet the furry felines – indigenous wild cats of South Africa, where you will see cheetah, caracal, serval, black footed cats and African Wild Cats, as well as a variety of indigenous waterfowl and birds. Tenikwa has a registered wildlife rehabilitation program, and your support funds our rehabilitation centre.

Join a guided walking safari with well-trained rangers to see rescued primates enjoying their new found freedom in the world’s first multi-species, free-roaming sanctuary in the world. Monkeyland is a living forest experience that will stay with you forever.

Enjoy a set lunch at The Flight Deck, where you can watch the waterfowl and bird activity from the deck overlooking Birds of Eden Lake. The price of the lunch is included in the package price. Refreshments are for your own account.

Previously caged birds from every corner of the globe live here in free flight.  This is not somewhere you want to rush through, so allow enough time to really soak up its splendour.
